Here's my cutie pie Tia in the book I did for our Treasure Art Trends yahoo group Pet Project Round Robin.
The title of my Pet Project is "101 Uses for a Lab"
Are there really only 101? LOL

I used a cute as can be kit from Rusty Pickle, just for dogs and the "D" is for Dogs 97% complete stickers and gaffers tape from 7gypsies, as well as Prima flowers. oh, and the model is Tia, 6 year old Lab in her backyard photo shoot.

Mixed Media Clocks made from Cigar Boxes

This weekend Cathy was here from TX and we had a weekend of CRAFTING fun!

 We started our weekend with lunch and shopping at the District in Green Valley Ranch, which included a stop at Anthropologie for feet and tops to a Mixed Media clock.  The clock was inspired by Lisa Kaus' mixed media clock (check out her blog!) and created out of cigar boxes.

We used Savannah Paper from 7gypsies .  We covered the clocks with beeswax.  Beeswax adds beautiful richness and depth.
